Gold Nugget Soccer Club Coaches and Volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our program, and we are most-grateful for our dedicated board members, coaches and assistant coaches, all of whom are volunteer parents and members of our community. We are recruiting board members and coaches for our upcoming season. Please consider volunteering. The club provides our coaches with full support, including training, equipment, and coach apparel.

Volunteer Registration 

All adult volunteers and coaches MUST be approved through CalNorth Youth Soccer Association (CYSA), BEFORE participating in any GNSC club activities that involve youth players. CalNorth Youth Soccer Association background screening and online training requirements must be completed each year.

Coach Qualifications

Coaching youth is a privilege and subject to the approval of the club board of directors. Gold Nugget Soccer Club seeks coaches that are committed to continuous program improvement at all levels of play. When making coach assignments, the board considers the following: (1) coaching training and licensing levels, (2) coaches commitment to improvement, (3) coaching experience within the club, and (4) general coaching experience.
