2013 GNSC Coaches Coordinator: Neil Bernoudey
In his youth, Neil played for Gold Nugget Soccer Club, and now has multiple children follwing in his footsteps. Neil has been a Head Coach for 5 seasons, and 7 years coaching experience. He has his F Coaching License, Grade 8 Referee Certification, and is also involved with coaching girls softball, and served with the Georgetown Fire Dept. for 6 years. Recreation Team Coaching
Youth soccer is an awesome way to compliment a balanced lifestyle while promoting a program that fosters personal growth, physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and over all good health! Why not have fun and make a difference in your childs life volunteering your time coaching his/her team? We will provide free training! Do you want to apply to coach or assistant coach a recreational soccer team? Then read on...
The CYSA "F" Course is the entry level coaching course that will give you the tools to support youth soccer and to be an effective coach. Click here for District courses offered to our interested coaches - they serve as a starting point for player development Note: Courses should be available to see on line sometime in April
IMPORTANT TO ALL GNSC MEMBERS: Each season we will select coaches we decide are best for each team formed. Coaches are evaluated each season, coaching last year does not guarantee a coaching position for this upcoming season. How to Apply to be considered for coaching
Please mark the box on your child's registration form indicating you want to volunteer to Head Coach or Asst. Coach. Click here to fill out our on line form--All those interested in being part of our coaching staff must complete this step before selected You will be notified no later than mid June of your status, and if selected, the next step in your coaching assignment for our 2013 season. All Coaches must clear a back ground check with the Department of Justice which will be facilitated free of charge by GNSC at the annual Coaches Meeting.
